On July 21-28, 2012 WTA "Baku Cup 2012" international rating tournament is launching. 32 high-ranking women tennis players will compete in the main draw.

The prize fund of the "Baku Cup" tournament held under the supervision of WTA Tour (Women`s Tennis Association) is 220.000 (two hundred and twenty thousand) USD, the same as the last year.

This year Baku Cup 2012 will stay in the memories of tennis lovers with wonderful performances of such famous women tennis players as Ksenia PERVAK, Anna TATISHVILI, Kateryna BONDARENKO and the others.  The host country, Azerbaijan, will be represented by young Kamilla Farhad, as it was during "Baku Cup 2011".

The matches will take place on 4 courts of Baku Tennis Academy (BTA). The final match of the tournament will be held on the Central Court of BTA on July 28, 2012. All the matches will be broadcasted by local and foreign states` tv channels.
